Beautiful views of virtually the whole of Somerset once you finally reached the top, but what an uphill hike, I never realized just how far it would be, as I had to keep stopping to have a rest after each set of stairs! Unfortunately there...More

It’s a steep climb to the top but the views from the top of the tor are worth it ! Make sure you’re wearing sturdy footwear and something warm as it’s chilly at the top. Worst part is trying to find somewhere close to leave...More

Glastonbury Tor is iconic. Climbing to the summit from Wellhouse Lane may sometimes be challenging owing to strong winds, but the views at the top are far-reaching. There is a mystical atmosphere that surrounds the Tor, attributable to myth and legend, but also tangibly present...More

We visited on a crisp February afternoon. The sun was bright but it was very cold. Perfect weather for us. We left the car in the town car park. We could have parked on the street a bit closer but we were happy for the...More

About a mile out of Glastonbury town lies the entrance to the tor. It's a hefty walk so you must be fit and prepared. Not ideal for strollers. Lovely quiet stroll with plenty of break spots of needed. Sons stunning views over Glastonbury. At the...More

Lovely walk with some stunning views. Definitely remember appropriate clothing though. Lots of walking through fields from the car park in town. Steps lead up the steeper side. The wind can be cold so remember to wrap up.

We walked up to the Tor from the town, if you are not that fit you might not wanna try it. The view from the top of the hill is extraordinary, as you get a 360 degree view of Glastonbury and surrounding areas! It was...More

Even on a windy winters day the views were stunning. Great to be able to take shelter in the tower at the summit. Path is well constructed. Only 15 minutes to the top with a bench halfway up if needed. Steep but well worth it.

You can't visit Glastonbury without climbing to the top of the Tor to see the view across the Somerset levels.

We parked in a factory car park opposite the well gardens. Had to go in their shop and pay a few quid for a permit.

Hi, sorry I've not gotten back to you before (I very rarely log into trip advisor). I believe that it is the Heart chakra of the world; in any case -it is one of the most peaceful places I've ever visited.

From the high street to the bottom of the hill is probably 15 to 20min depending on how briskly you walk. Up the Tor itself, I would say another 15 to 20min
