Actually this was old court house but museum itself was a surprise that wasn't anything to with the original place. This was quite interesting museum - nice artifacts from archeological excavations. Not for those who don't want to read and aren't interested of history.

Although the museum is small, it is excellently laid out, with high quality information and g ives a fascinating insight into the lake village. Absolutely essential for any trip to Glastonbury, with a great deal of historical information and artefacts.

Small, compacted museum of the Archiological site, you need to climb stairs but not to many. The canoe in the out building is immpressive

The displays are quite small but the range of finds are fantastic. Its the most complete picture of Iron Age material culture that you can see anywhere in the UK. A national treasure that deserves a better space for presentation.

An anthropological wonder with illustrations showing how the site has been excavated throughout the years, and artifacts the villagers used in their everyday lives.
