Fantastic home made pies, great service and food when you want it, no rush! Apart from that, a traditional stone floor and lots of old wood, great atmosphere and a wonderful change from modern bars!

The new landlords have ruined what has been a brilliant pub. Its cold , no atmosphere and the landlady point blank refuses to pour a pint of Guinness properly. This in a pub which used to pride itself on its excellent ales

I love a real ale and so popped into this pub. A good selection of ales and you can have a taster great as well. With popping in for a pint.

Been a regular at the Rose and Crown since the Joules take over and always regarded it as Stafford's best boozer. Served sub standard PA, polite request for half pint replacements denied.
