Lovely place for a leisurely stroll around the lakes or along the canal path, or for joggers and cyclists. Lots of swans to see and a nice little cafe where you can either sit inside or outside on the balcony and watch the world go by. Also has a great park for the kids.

i have been to westport lake frequently over the last few years to walk my dogs, however, I must say I prefer Knypersley and Rudyard. Mainly due to it only being a mile around and there being too many cyclists and runners about.

Lovely relaxing view with a nice cuppa & tea cake. Great to sit on the veranda. Friendly staff. Great to have a walk then go into the cafe. Lots of great local information available there to.

A pleasant circular walk around one or both of the lakes. Always a good selection of waterfowl to admire. Ample parking with overflow car park. Children's play ground and lovely cafe overlooking the big lake

Lovely area which is great for everyone to enjoy due to its flat wide pavement, size (only about a mile long around both lakes) and plenty of benches to watch the world go by and have a picnic. Perfect for little legs who need to stop every now and again. There is a lovely cafe which serves reasonably priced sandwiches,... More

A lovely tourist spot, right in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. The lake, circumference one mile, is surrounded by bushes and trees. Wild birds (water fowl) inhabit the lake. The visitor centre is well-appointed and accessible. The Green Door project has made available various cycles for transport around the lake at low cost. With the canal passing one side of the... Plenty of parking. Good visitors centre. Well maintained path all around the lake, though beware of the goose poo. The conservation area is lovely. There is a children's playground and you can also access the walk along the canal from Westport Lake.
