Fantastic walks all around here. We live just down the hill and walk around the tower often. Great Sunday afternoon thing to do!

Amazing panoramic views from the top of the tower - lovely location for a country walk (some routes quite steep) and a nice spot to stop off for viewing and refreshments at the Tower.

Visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Walked up the gentle path (Starveall carpark, I think) and had a wonderful walk. The tower is well worth the climb (closes at 5pm), and they serve a nice mug of tea to enjoy with the view.
