Unfortunately as described.fancy dress, rides, unlimited free popcorn competition's I'm still yet to see in fairness and for £25 an adult it was definitely not worth the money at all!!! It was full of inflatables kids shoes going missing just found it really disappointing. But on the brighter side we had never been to the races my 6 and 10 year old... More

Magical? Family day out? No, not really. There was an hour queue for the face painting, four free events for kids (one small bouncy hut and three hoopla/coconut/darts stalls where you win nothing). The rest of the attractions for kids were token only, and there was a 30m queue to buy the tokens. Rubbish for the kids, we saw two... More

A great day out for the races, have been to better courses and even though we had vouchers for food, found tht only one place was open to use this. There were very big queues and didnt think it was very organised. paid for premier tickets and didnt feel that there was alot of viewing places to go

It's been about ten years since I was last there.. if anything it has gone back over. Badly in need of a make over.. or even a good clean.Cold, dull.. totally lacks atmosphere compere to other northern tracks..and miserable.

Booked hospitality for 4 on the 24th March, with elderly (not to old relatives), one with disability. From arrival, the welcome from staff was friendly and warm, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities in the Parkview Suite were first class, with staff always on hand to offer assistance and advice. The meal was excellent and good value for money.... More

Visited for a few car shows to this location, everthing is so corporate including food and drinks! So expensive! Charge the people running the show so making profit then greed to charge so much for food and drinks.

The facilities are no where near as good as York racecourse which shares the same grade a status, York is cheaper to get in, better by far in terms of facilities for food and beverages, toilets and outdoor cover (if it rains) Come on owners at Newcastle racecourse, spend some of your profits before people start going further afield for... We visited the racecourse for a private charity event and we really enjoyed the day. We were being hosted on the main second floor suite, which has a terrific view of the course and the city of Newcastle in the background. You'd also get this from the main upper terrace. The food (carvery) was excellent and the staff were outstanding.... More

Great afternoon at the races starting with a tour one hour before the first race of the afternoon. Helped me understand what goes on behind the scenes. We saw jockeys weigh in, and our kind guide explained the weights that were added to saddles. Bit chilly but very exciting watching the races live. Good food outlets too. Caught the courtesy...
