What a disappointing visit. The Union Rooms under JD Wetherspoons was never ground breaking but it was cheap, cheerful and have plenty of choice so we headed over for lunch yesterday keen to see what the new owner had done. Nothing good as it turned...More

I used to be a regular patron of this establishment in my younger days. I returned this morning to breakfast with my young daughter. I looked at my Wetherspoons app on my phone but it didn't recognize the pub. I was also surprised that no...More

Great pub near central station, we came here for cheap drinks before a short walk to nearby Metro Radio Arena for a concert. Was a Monday night so was pretty quiet so was easy to get a seat on the first floor

Large building with small rooms all over the place. Not too busy and able to get served quickly. Normal bar fare but good and reasonable prices. Just across the road from the station so gets lots of travelers with cases.
