Good breakfast ordered with no egg or beans ended up with black pudding which was bit naughty of the staff but made me happy. He was put right soon after by his superior. Good cheap food would recommend in clean relax environment bit dark in places.

Wetherspoons pub, a little of the beaten track so quite quiet when we visited. Large building split into different rooms with additional seating upstairs. We chose the deli deal - cheese and ham pannini with chips and a pint of Thatchers - at £5.25 each you really can't go wrong. Food arrived after a reasonable wait and was delicious. Plenty... More

Four of us went for a meal on a short break to newcastle. The main bar was very noisy. But we found a table in a nice quiet side room all our meals were served fairly quickly, and all were good. For the price we paid it was very good value. The building is a ex gentleman's club and is... More

Called in here for something to eat on a cold Sunday in November. This bar gets very busy right over the weekend and on Sunday at 1pm it was full, including large groups of lads. This is a lovely old building and plenty of rooms in which to drink and eat. Standard spoons food menu and drinks. You know exactly... More

First off, this place looks fantastic - it is an old style English building which has been done up to look more modern. It's big and spacious and has multiple floors. It is also quite cheap for food and drink and in a very central location. Unfortunately would could not find a clean table to sit at because they all... More
