It is pleasant to walk along here for a short while. However it is crowded so you will not experience the tranquility of an isolated canal. Not a destination in itself but part of a walking tour of the area.

Wow were we lucky with the weather in February half term... a stroll along the waterfront in Stratford, it's free and super pretty in the sunshine. Parking is reasonable in Stratford too.

Didn’t cover much of the walk but found the pathways well maintained, plenty of places to sit and rest, lovely views and plenty to keep you interested.

Very peaceful area. You can just walk, relax (it was too cold to sit about) or feed the swans and birds.

Whatever the weather the canal can be walked or taken by boat. Plenty of things to do along the way and the sites are beautiful. This is very popular with tourists on warm weather so an early start is necessary to beat the queues.

Only a short trip up the canal but gave another view of some of the older places in Stratford with an interesting commentary.

We went for a walk down the canal. Their are restaurant barges, trip barges and a ice cream barge. Beautiful place next to the town

I have stayed in Stratford many times and I always enjoy a walk along the canal whatever the season. It is a peaceful spot once you get out of the main bit of Stratford. Lots of waterbirds to enjoy.

Hello, we found parking very limited in fact we never found a car park but parked on the road alongside the river and kept returning to update our ticket. Maybe try citizens advice to locate a carpark to suit your needs Good... More
