I live in Stratford Old Town and use Avon Bank Gardens as a way to walk in to town. It is usually quiet and always pleasent to walk along the river.

This is a lovely peaceful walk alongside the canal and a few old ruins hidden through out including one building with Shakespeare's large murals on the building which were lovely and colourful

A haven of peace and tranquility just round the corner from the RST. Beautiful on a sunny day, and scenic even when the weather is not so good.

Nice gardens on the banks of the avon leading up to the RST. Various posters of previous RSC productions feature in the gardens.

Plenty of waterfowl, great views across the river, easy access to pubs such as the Dirty Duck, and the theatres of course.

One of the many pleasant riverside places to walk in Stratford and a lovely tranquil link between the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the church where the great man is buried.

A nice ramble along the side of the avon, worth following to see parts of the town that not everyone gets to, but would benefit from sign-posting showing the walk.

Love walking along the river and do it as often as time and the weather permit. Like walking in Shakespeare's footprints and looking at the trees and wildlife.
