This statue of the jester is at the end of Henley Street! We found him while walking around and had a laugh - it reminded us that Shakespeare had a sense of humour sometimes!

This monument is FUN! Reminds everyone that life can be less stressed and that Shakespeare had a sense of humour! You need to stand further away to take in the whole statue

Right at the end of Henley street, you will meet this charming character. In essence, his pose captures much of the humour contained in Shakespeare's writings - you can't miss him!

Situated at the far end of the famous "Henley Street",you come across the statue of the Jester, which to me personally is just another nondescript street statue, and one that I wouldn't go out of my way to see, although some might attach significance to it,not impressed!

We stumbled upon the Jester while walking in the bustling Henley Street. What an interesting statue and how appropriate and fitting. Enjoy it!

if you are touring the centre of Stratford, then it's almost inevitable that you will visit Henley Street, so go to the western end and spend a few minutes with The Jester. its light-hearted composition captures the humour in much of the Bards writing.

We had just visited Shakespeare's birthplace and spotted this statue at the end of the road. We both had our photos taken to add to the vast collection of photos taken during our visit to Stratford-upon-Avon.
