Imagine a totally electrifying day out at Britain’s ultimate castle. Where you can immerse yourself in a thousand years of jaw-dropping history – come rain or shine.Where ancient myths and spell-binding tales set your imagination alight, and your hair on end. Where princesses are pampered and maidens are wooed, as winners become true heroes and losers are confined to dark, dank dungeons to be forgotten for eternity. It could only be Warwick Castle.

The dungeon visit was well worth the money, highlight of the day for sure! Two of our group had been to the castle before and said the dungeon tour made their visit much more memorable than last time.

We had been looking forward to going to warwick castle for a long time. However, to start we with struggled to find the main car park and didn't think there was one was walked from town in the cold. Several of the attractions within the castle were closed to refurbishment due to out of season, but we werent told this... More

We were very impressed that Warwick Castle is funded only through income. It would be easy to criticise the "entertainment" themes, but it certainly attracts a younger clientelle to learn about history in a fun way. There were ample more serious themes to satisfy the history buffs with well presented descriptions. Don't miss the dungeon, a tongue in cheek approach... More

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday. Quite costly to get in for 2 adults, but, if we had known we were going we would have gone on line and pre paid. Could have saved 30%. Lovely castle, lots of interest & good display of armour. Paying extra to go in dungeons was well worth it. You can even... More

Warwick Castle is great. It's a bit of a shame that Merlin charge so much to see it. The dungeon is worth a visit and those guys do a great job, but handing you the photos afterwards, and then saying 'oh by the way it's £20' for three photos and a key ring. When you turn up the parking is... More

I wished I had visited Warwick castle in summer to feel the vibes of activities. However, as I am only visiting in winter now, I had to make the best of it. Food Carts and many activities are not available as there is hardly any crowd. On the other hand, with less crowd, I could take photos without any interference... More

Went there on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. We are glad that we booked the dungeon tour as it was the highlight of day for us. We enjoyed walking in the grounds and taking in the views of the lovely Warwickshire countryside. The Christmas trees had just been put up so that made it feel festive. We didn't... More

I've been to Warwick Castle on many occasions, including Halloween in previous years. Warwick Castle is one of my favourite places to visit. However, this visit was rather disappointing. There were very few actors roaming being scary/silly, the main scare attraction was rather shorter than previous years & seemed rushed; & the initial straw maize seemed a little under decorated... We had a wonderful day out at Warwick Castle. It's a beautiful place and has that great balance of being good for kids yet also retaining that historical aspect. Beware if you have young children and are taking a buggy though. We had a backpack so I was able to put our baby on my back, but if you only... More

On a beautiful, clear sunny day in November, it was the ideal place to visit during our mini-break in this part of the world. We took both the outdoor 'historical bacground' tour and the indoor tour which was more about the families who had owned the castle in the past and the uses to which the various rooms had been...
