A lovely small station like stepping back in time to the 1950's, the station buffet is worth a visit for the retro styling. And the train was already waiting at the platform, no crowds, no noise - lovely!

This train station reminds me of the older stations that were in place before Grand Central was constructed. It is much easier to navigate due to being so small but that is a good thing if you find train travel a bit daunting. It is...More

I passed this place by many times on my way from the bus to the train at New Street, and finally went in the other day - very cool place. A nice cafe, in what looks to be genuine Victorian surroundings. Also supposed to be...More

Decent station- poor cousin in comparison to new street station. There is a cafe and rest room facilities. Bull ring is in walking distance

Replica Victoriana - well done National Rail. Its all about the building here, a more pleasing travel experience than New Street or Snow Hill.

A great example of a Victorian era station, always clean and tidy with a couple of shops and a bar. .

This is a beautiful old style station where we catch the train to Marylebone, it takes you back to a time gone by away from the hustle bustle of modern life, superb.🚂

A lovely old station, very quaint. Trains to and from London go from here on a regular basis, and the station is very "quaint". Close to New Street Station, but not as busy.

You could drop him outside the station and there are car parks 100 yds down the road ( price depends on your duration)
