Saturday night live music

So much fun! Live music was awesome and the atmosphere was great. Queue at the bar wasn't too bad. We stayed downstairs because it was so packed upstairs.

3rd visit here, and it just gets better. What we really like is that the musicians are always spot on - very talented, and have a great rapport with the audience. It was a great atmosphere, with a good Saturday evening crowd in. It also feels 'safe', with watchful security staff.

Have always had a fabulous night of music and dancing when we have gone here and our recent visit was no exception. I have always noticed that staff and security were very good however this was fully proven when my husband suffered an attack of tourettes - a condition he as recently developed. The staff were brilliant, providing him with... More

The inside is great, but if you expect a friendly face on the way in, don't come here. The baldish bouncer that finally let us in after making us feel like he'd scraped us off his boot, had an impression that he'd either been there too long, or has a lot going on personally that he needs to deal with.

The whole place was jumping and pumping from 25-65 year olds. Great place for live music and sensible drinks prices.....x2 doubles with mixers £12

We went back to the Jam House last night and had yet again another fantastic night. Fab food, great live band, excellent service and brilliant disco. An all round great evening experience. Can't wait to go again. Debbie Pegg

Very moody doorman saying "men to the right £5, women to the left free". I thought that sought of thing ended years ago. Just imagine if that was the other way round!!

I arrived at this venue for a work function (all my colleagues were safely inside). I was immediately stopped at the door and questioned about my attendance. I explained that I was there to attend a work meal. However, the obnoxious brute of supposed security guard declined my entry, as I did not recall the name of the booking. Standing... More

Welcoming doorman. Great music and good atmosphere. Very crowded venue. Drinks expensive. Some bar staff had bad attitude, especially when I was given the wrong drink and, despite me asking politely, the barmaid refused to change it, insisting she had given me what I asked for and slammed the drink down on the bar. Glass collectors repeatedly took glasses away... More
