You would think that in such developed countries they've found a way to isolate and warm you when it's cold outside. This might be the case in most places but not in these tours with wet seats and frozen air which troubles the sightseeing on a day without rain. I liked the tour, but the boat was in a very... More

Considering this is a major attraction in Birmingham - the organisation is very poor. We arrived Monday 17th October 2016, no indication that the boat was booked for a private hire, the next boat was also booked for a private hire (notice board would have been a good idea) we eventually got on the trip at 1:30. The canal boat... More

AVOID Sherboune Wharf Ltd. It was a lovely Autumn day so decided to have a trip up the canal with Sherbourne wharf Ltd, boarded the barge for departure at 1pm which departed on time, what started as a lovely relaxing trip soon turned into a horrible one. First thing to go wrong was the pre recorded commentary so this got... More

A lovely day for our trip which took about an hour. Our captain was Peter who narrated as he navigated. Hannah was at the bar and both gave excellent service with plenty of local knowledge about the canals. A chance to see a heron and other birds made it a very pleasant experience.

We had a really great experience on the hour long narrow boat tour. At £8 for adults (£7 for senior citizens) you cannot say it isn't value for money. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable and entertaining. I've been living in the city for 7 years and my hubby his whole life and neither of us knew this existed. The... More

Interesting enough canal trip. There is a live commentary. Not a huge amount to see outside the city centre.

One hour on the boat along the canal for 8 pounds, the most soothing experience during a business trip to Birmingham. You get to see different aspects of the city plus the tour guide was fun.

As part of my partner's birthday present we went on a canal cruise around Brindley Place and the surrounding waterways. A good, value for money, interesting, relaxing trip. Just over 1 hour, which was about right for us.

My friend chose this trip for our day out. I don't know what I was expecting but this was basically a tour of all the run down crumbling old dumps you would never want to see if you weren't trapped on a boat! The canal was full of rubbish, the commentary was factually incorrect and boring. What a waste of... More

Staff were very accommodating. The trip was enjoyable in a basic but comfortable boat. Interesting to see the old buildings and how the canalside is changing
