Lovely and well sculptured statue but where on earth is the history? Luckily we found the Herbert Gallery and found out all about the story and history of Lady Godiva as there was no information in Broadgate and we missed the Peeping Tom clock which...More

Worth a visit for some photographs, but a shame there is nowhere nearby that explains the history behind Lady Godiva. While you are there take a look at the clock when it strikes on the hour to see peeping Tom.

Statue is good but not enough to warrant a visit. Coventry needs to work harder on its image for tourism

It's not exactly the most grand statue I've seen, in fact if there's anything going on in the square you might be forgiven for missing this altogether as it's pretty tiny.

This statue brings back many happy childhood memories and I still stop to look at the statue every time I’m in Coventry City Centre. I hope all visitors enjoy the statue and stop to watch “Peeping Tom” every hour.

As far as statues go, it isn't bad. Fairly classical, unique to Coventry's history and culture but nothing special in my opinion.
