If you visit the city centre the Godiva statue is nigh impossible to miss. It is a story personal to Coventry and its folk lore so you are unlikely to see anything similar.

This statue is situated in the very center of Coventry. Nothing special in my opinion but there are shops around it which are worth visiting.

This was an interesting piece of history in the middle of a modern shopping area. Unless you know the history, it seemed out of place.

Joined a party of 20 at Cathedral steps 18.30 last Wednesday and shared Blitz Walk around the city.for 90 minutes with a 1940s Air Raid Warden and a Cathedral Organ player. Brought the events of October 1940 to life. Wonderful experience.taking in about ten landmarks including Lady Godiva Statue.

One more lovely reason to spend a day walking around Coventry. I sat for the longest time, reading the words inscribed at the base of the statue, and taking in the local culture. Make sure you take a moment for yourself.
