We often visit Coombe for walks/picnics/play areas etc and we always enjoy ourselves. This weekend you could pay £2 to take part in the Spooky Trail. You had to follow the clues to win a prize. The children really enjoyed doing this. We wore boots...More

Didn't really know about the place until recently, it's a 15-20 min drive from Coventry city centre, reasonably priced parking is available with loads of spaces. The park is huge, you can easily spend several hours hiking, or have a picnic.

An usually quiet place in Coventry. Absolutely beautiful. Right next to Coombe Abbey Hotel and Restaurant. A very good spot for family outing. Just 15 mins drive from Coventry centre.

Gardens were excellent and well laid out. The walks were varied and of differing lengths and grades. The abbey self tour, though generally interesting, was disappointing on some floors where the decor had been left as when the family left it.

Some people are really sophisticated, almost having a party with bbqs or a campervan for cooking from. It's a great 3 hours or more for picnic-ing. The playgrounds and space for kids to ply is good. Never seems too full even on warm weekends when...More

Yes it is a great place to go for any length of walk. There is a lot to see while you are walking and before you know it you have walk much further than you expected to. Great safe place for families too.

Officially I don't think so but people do and as long as your respectful to others they leave you alone.
