We visited Coombe park after attending a conference & found we had some free time afterwards. Not knowing the area we chose the park as it was fairly close to where we were staying. We found it very easily & there was plenty of parking, although I thought the prices were steep considering the state of the car park. The... More

Lovely area to go for a walk on a sunny day - very picturesque, lots of wooded areas with different tracks and a lake, all well maintained, friendly for dogs as well. Plenty of areas to view wildlife if that's what your in to. You can also walk on the deer park. There is a café which is nice and... More

have visited many times to explore with the kids - great for blowing the covwebs away and lots of nooks and crannies to explore in the forests. Mixed sizes of challenging play areas built through the park are also a great way to keep younger legs moving forwards to the next part!

Fantastic location for a trip with dog on a Sunday afternoon. Car park was busy but still plenty of spaces - just a shame that many of the gated footpaths were chained closed so you had just a few of the ones normally open to walk through and also only 2 parking payment machines up and running so this took... The car parking charges have recently been changes and are now more favourable for regular short visits. If you like a short stroll taking in the surrounding nature then this is always good for a couple of hours.

I visited Coombe country park today and it was beautiful very well maintained and my dog was very welcome. The only thing I'd say is take a picnic as the cafe is very disorganised I was queuing for 15 and then had to wait a further 20 minutes for a sandwich to be heated up. Staff seemed to work at... Having Coombe Abbey is a fantastic asset to Coventry City. The park has something for everyone to enjoy- the woods and trails fill a day. The hotel is absolutely stunning and we have been to a small intimate wedding in the blue room and a large wedding in the marquee. Both were amazing and very different. The rooms in the... More

Great fun, worth every penny. Food, entertainment, everything was hugely enjoyable. Well-oiled machine. Fab music to finish the night's entertainment. 2 small grumps: bar was quite small and only 2 serving which got a little fraught at times but patience is a virtue! Also, no advice re. Hiring costumes, would liked to have dressed up and got in to character.... More
