Lovely Walks Around the Lakes and up in teh Fields

Lovely place to walk round. Come in at the Haworth Road end of off Duckworth Lane. 2 reservoirs to walk round, the Duckwork lane one is probably better walking in the wet weather as the walkways are better and it is pretty flat walkng apart from one incline at the far end. The haworth road entrance requires a fair walk... More

With free car parking, this is a very pretty area to walk through. Fab for dog walking, and if you go up onto the fields above the lake there's plenty of room for ball throwing. Sadly, I don't feel very comfortable after dusk because of the groups of youths - and girls - hanging around

Free parking for this easy walk which can be either one or two miles. You can take the short walk around the upper reservoir. Or the slightly longer one through the woods and around two reservoirs. Lots of water birds to watch along the way and squirrels

This is a lovely place to go for a walk especially when the sun is shining .It is a very popular spot for dog walkers . It is also a popular place for fishermen .You can easily spend a few hours just having a pleasant stroll and its all free .

Great for walking the dog, little stream running to a resavoir my dog loved swimming in the water. some steep parts but very good under foot. lovely walking under the trees. NO CAR PARK FEE . Height restriction 6"6 so no good if you have a 4x4 with a roof box on top.

A., pleasant place for a nice stroll. Chellow Dean has been the locals favorite for many years .Tranquil and if your lucky and the little shop is open then buy an ice cream to eat on your way round this water feature

It's still a good place to walk around; one feels safe. It is not as interesting as it used to be but that's progress for you.

My kids love it. We feed the ducks and walk around both reservoirs. It a good way to get some exercise and see lots of beautiful sights. The last few times that I have been there has only been 1 or 2 people walking their dogs. Not many people visit chellow dean anymore but I don't understand why. I think... More
