We called in at the Black Bull on Easter Saturday, prior to visiting the steam railway for afternoon tea. The landlady greeted us and was very friendly. She was disappointed that we weren't stopping for lunch and so were we after we saw the food being served/ A good selection of real ales was on offer in this pub. A... More

Had a stop off here for dinner whilst staying in the area- catered for my gluten free needs, massive portions considering quite cheap in price- would recommend

We chose this place for our evening's entertainment for the one night we stayed in Haworth. With the beer being in keeping with the rest of the village (generally old style ale), we settled in for the quiz. Unfortunately, some drunken hags pretty much ruined the night. A real shame they weren't shushed earlier.

Today was very cold, wet and windy in Haworth and, being at the end of November the only places open were a couple of pubs. We needed a warm drink and, due to the Bramwell Bronte connections I leapt at the chance to go in the Black Bull. Firstly the decor is rather dated and shabby, but, it is a... More

Visited this pub as part of a weekend of culture in Howarth. We stayed at the hotel across the road which was lovely. On the Friday one of the shopkeepers mentioned there was a band festival all weekend at the black bull. So after a day of visiting the parsonage and walking we went for tea, after that decided to... A bit cold and damp but I remembered somewhere up Haworth High Street where I had had a great Yorkshire pudding with beef and gravy many years before. We didn't find it and reached the very top of the hill where we found the Black Bull. The Yorkshire Pudding and gravy was very welcome, but no roast beef... Pleasant atmosphere... More

There are two doors to this place and I wish we had walked in one door and out the other. The bar was littered with empty pint pots. There were a group of what appeared to be locals one of which found it extremely funny to exit the gents with a toilet roll tail hanging out of the back of... More
