This is a fantastic museum that will keep all ages interested for the full day. Free to enter and really well laid out. Often they have interactive exhibitions on and it's my 12 year old sons fave place to visit. A must see!!!

We took my Cousin & her Husband to see the armouries. (As they had never been before.) We went on Easter Saturday. It was a great day out and we all found it very educational. There was demonstrations on that were very entertaining. There was plenty to see and do. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to see the jousting.... More

I can't believe this museum is still free to go to.. By now I'd have thought there would be an entrance fee. I've been many times over the years, with my most recent visit been with one of my Nephews. There is lots to see and do and certain weeks of the year they have live shows and tournaments you... Visited here with the family at easter for the first time. An easy walk from the city centre, free admission, a great start. Even though it was the Easter holidays and busy the museum is so big you could always find your own space. You could easily spend all day here but it's all a bit much to take in... More

Took our 3 grandchildren here and they all enjoyed the experience! There is plenty to see and do for all ages from 2 to ??? For a free attraction I think it is wonderful and would recommend it to all parents and grandparents looking for something to do!
