I like modern music, I like fast cars, I like fast women. This place has it all. I drive down in my high powered convertible Porsche with my wife Margaret hoping to buy some new tunes to bop to at home ( 6 bed Edwardian detached) and I was shocked at how great the selection was, the Beatles in the... No matter what kind of music you're listening to, Jumbo Records is the best place for you to find a wide range of music ranging from the 60s (or even earlier) to the more current ones. They also have a complete range of genres and I ended up buying some CDs for my mum as well. They also have different... More

Both Jumbo and Crash Records both have long standing histories in Leeds and its music scene and therefore both deserve the support and longevity that they've achieved over the years (and more). For those who live in Leeds, Jumbo is a none-brainer, but for those visiting or moving to the city, it is a place that needs to be explored... More

I no longer live in the area and returned recently, managing to buy a few good and fairly unusual records. If I... More

When I'm in leeds I won't even go here unless I've got an hour and twenty quid spare. A fantastic place to browse at your leisure and flip through the vinyl. There's also a good range of CDs and always a bargain section to rummage. Love it! You will stride away proudly with your cool jumbo records carrier bag and... More

Independent record shops are dying out, and this is one of the best. Genuinly friendly staff, I can be quite difficult with my tastes and they always help. A wide selection of different styles, on Vinyl and CD. And it is great to see vinyl on record shop shelves. Prob not for those after the latest pop release, more for... More
