We regularly visit Golden Acre Park for walks. There is a good ice cream van in the car park, lovely paths, ducks to feed and lovely flowers. I spend time with my camera here too. Only issue is a lack of parking on busy days.

Golden Acre Park offers something for everyone; extensive grounds, lakes, woodland area and wheelchair and buggy friendly paths. Been visiting for years; the gardens are delightful: there is plenty to see and planting is constantly refreshed.

There aren't admission charges and parking is free. There is a cafe and a small shop, so it would be what you want to spend.
