Compared to the surrounding area of Armley, this golf course / park is an oasis. But compared to other places I have visited it's poor and substandard. I was following the Leeds Liverpool canal when I decided to make a diversion across the canal to...More

A beautiful park with massive wonderful space. A grand house in the centre and wonderful monumental sights throughout the park. Vast expanse of woodland and parking.

Very good course for golfers of various skill levels ( ranging from beginner to intermediate. A rather hilly course however (trolley recommended when playing). Very friendly members and staff Well maintained fairways greens and bunkers. Overall a beautiful course

Played a round of golf today. Par 65 (won't say what I got!). Quite a few par 3 holes. Bit of a bizarre course really with quite a number of holes cross-crossing each other so you have to watch out and wait for other people...More

Excellent greens for a municipal course, magnificent views not far from Leeds city centre, good course for beginners and experienced golfers alike.Definitely worth a try.

Golfers can be very abusive and violent when they see dogs, even omes not showing intrest in them till they start shouting and waving sticks!

Like all the municipal courses in Leeds they are poorly kept and have so called green keepers who must be council failed gardeners. Everything about the course is poor, greens, tees, fairways and bunkers.

The Golf course is OK - very good for a public course - but the woods, walks and views in and around Gotts Park are great. The park was designed by Humphrey Repton a famous landscape gardener and some of the original trees still exist....More
