Located within the heart of Avebury is the manor which is well worth a visit together with the gardens. The house was recently used by the BBC for a TV series & comes with mock period furniture.

Very nice Manor House with a lot of rooms fully furnished to explore at your leisure. Nice gardens with other displays in the nearby barn.

Admission for non members is £10 which includes the gardens, but excludes the £7 parking charge. Clearly the Manor is very popular as there is a timed entry system in place, but you can wander the gardens at your leisure before or after your visit....More

The national trust and BBC have done a good job in recreating different time lines within this 400/500 year old house .Well done! especially to the NT guides all of whom come across as knowledgeable,enthusiastic and very willing to connect with visitors
