Attended last night for a concert, quite surprised at the dowdy and not very welcome feel to this place. No smiles or welcomes at all in actual fact by the staff, upon presentation of our tickets some guy mumbled and pointed we followed the crowd through into what felt like a sports hall, tiny seats not comfortable for the duration.... First thing, I was stopped at the door to have my handbag checked, no courtesy, no idea what they were looking for. I was taken aback by the abrupt manner, so I made a little friendly joke, no reaction. Once the concert was well underway and everyone was in place, there were a few people on the disabled ramp, I... A moderate sized venue that seems to cater for most types of events from conferences with breakout rooms to stage concerts. The venue was reasonably clean and had welcoming staff with a very easily accessible box office / reception area. A pay and display car park is at the rear of the building which you have to use as all... More

Our first visit to this venue and I will make sure it's the last. Cramped seating; I'm only 1m 70 yet my knees were touching the seat back in front and the portly man on my right was over the armrest into my space. We were in the tiered seating and at the end of the performance we stood for... More

A male singing group from Port Isaac, Cornwall, who sing sea shanties. I didn't really want to go because it sounded dreadful! How wrong I was, Beautiful singing and fun with it. I cannot recommend this group enough!

Really enjoyed an afternoon being entertained by The Spitfire Sisters, dancers and a good band. Second half was very moving with hymns and music by Glenn Miller. The whole event was really well organised. Amazing band. Hats off to you all!

This very spacious building offers a great variety of shows throughout the year, from famous stars, singers and comedians and much more. The lower seats are all on the same level, so if you are not very tall , try to purchase tickets on the tiered levels further back. There is a bar for interval drinks etc. Local restaurants are within... Very good venue - only drawback was the slight draught I could feel from behind. It could have been a little warmer in the hall on a chilly night! The Manfreds were brilliant as ever!
