Even if you're not interested in Edward Heath, this is a lovely house with an extensive garden reaching down to the river Avon. I would highly recommend including a visit to Arundells if you are in Salisbury, particularly if you are visiting the cathedral nearby.
Well worth a visit. Gardens were beautiful and so much interesting memorabilia, much of it very personal. My only criticism would be that the house feltva bit crowded at times. Definitely recommend though!

We had not planned to visit Arundells and it was only one hour before closing when we purchased our tickets. Included in the price was a free second entry which as it turned out was a real bonus.
