My husband has started passing the gates on a regular basis going to work and brought me here today out of curiosity. A long elegant driveway leads you to plenty of parking. Walked in the main gate and passed a lovely tearoom, which we visited on the way back. Had a really nice walk around the grounds, interesting buildings and... More

I have been to Larmer Tree festival but this time came for a wedding. Wow, such a beautiful location......and the most amazing wedding! It is set in such stunning countryside and the gardens are really beautiful, as are the peacocks!

What a fantastic place to visit. No wonder why the rich & famous live around here. People have their wedding's here as the setting is out of this world. The drive to get to the place is through some most lovely villages. I would recommend the Larmer Tree Gardens.

A really nice Victorian Garden with a small tearoom looked after by a charming and helpful lady. We used the map provided to find our way around and finding the fairy doors a bit of fun and added to the interest. Enjoyed a good light lunch. Entry and food all reasonably priced. Essentially this is wedding venue so check opening... More

I visited the Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset for the first time with my fiancé last weekend for the End of the Road festival. I am 7mtjs pregnant and it did rain so I couldn't experience the gardens to their full splendour but I could still appreciate the magic of them and how special a space it is. I imagine... More

We are regular visitors to the Larmer Tree Gardens. They are beautiful victorian pleasure gardens that have been lovingly restored. The tea room is excellent and I love watching the majestic peacocks. There is a great music festival that takes place here every summer which is very family friendly and ingerates art, music and comedy. They also have food festivals... More

Bright sunshine always helps when visiting gardens but this place raises the game with numerous quirky buildings dotted around the whole area which you can explore. The gardens have the full range of plants from heathers and Gunnara in the sunken pond garden to woods with little picnic areas ideal for kids to play and hide in. The lawns are... More

This was my second year, and I have only given it 4 Stars this year, as it was not quite as good as last year. I was in the Camp Rushmoor - comfy camping, and I highly recommend this camp site. The Hot showers were amazing - starting each day refreshed. The toilets were cleaned at least once a day,... More

Larmer Tree Festival in July takes place in these gardens; set in Cranbourne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Beauty. What a great festival. It has won awards fit the best small festival and the best toilets ! The showers and refuse/litter collection are really good too. It's also got a great choice of food caterers (vegan, vegetarian allergy, etc) and... More

Portaloos were plentiful but dirty. We never saw them being cleaned and many had no paper. No other camping facilities in our field. Music was good but venue within the site was too small for the number of people.Had the feeling you were in a market. Loads of stalls selling expensive food and other goods. Music was good.We felt it... More
