A most interesting site located on the river Thames with initially the river meandering past but by the end of the walk the water is powering over the weir , plenty of bird life to be seen and a small zoo type affair is also...More

This is a hidden gem close to Maidenhead centre. You would never know it was here. There is something about the rush of water that draws you to it. This is also a brilliant spot for a summer picnic.

Lovely place to walk with young children....clean and tidy.Cafe and toilets.Lovely view of the Weir.......nice places to sit and have a picnic or feed the ducks...parking close by and also the lock to watch boats passing through.

Such a pretty place to visit and walk around. You have the lock which always fascinates me also a small weir further into the park and a lovely water feature. There is also a little Avery with different species of birds. Squirrels are in abundance...More

Hi , Ray Mill Island Island closes ( gates locked ) at 9pm . Boulders lock is open 24/7 there is a car park approximately 100yards away and I am sure weather permitting you could light a candle and toast your Boyfriends... More

Ray mill island is open every day. There is no one on site permanently and it is run by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Info and phone numbers are on their website. Hope this helps!
