Love this place all year around. If you divert off the main paths you can easily find yourself with just nature. Gets busy between March - Sept especially on sunny weekends.

Take in the Windsor Castle and then stroll through town to Windsor Great Park. If you're lucky, you'll see deer strolling through the park. The "Long Walk" is over two miles long and leads to the castle. Take the Long Walk for over 2 miles...More

We left the car in Saville Gardens and took the "Long Walk" to Windsor. It takes about 1.5 hours, it is a beautiful walk, and Windsor Great Park is stunning. We went off the Long Walk to see the park too, and saw ancient oak...More

Very Nice path to walk along a lush green park. Its 3 mikes long and ends at the back of Windsor Castle. Should be part of your trip when exploring Windsor Castle

We visited Smiths Lawn, within the Great Park to watch the polo. It's a superb event, with good access by car and good parking facilities. The park is huge and very impressive.

This park is incredible, absolutely enormous. It's a beautiful place for walking and squirrel spotting. It would be a fabulous place for a run too. It was nice to get some exercise here in beautiful green surrounds.

We were killing sometime so a group of us decided to have a walk. Too be honest all you see is a long road dissappearing into the distance. It's the walk back with the castle in view that makes it worth the walk

One day is really not enough to spend in Windsor, to see and experience everything. You need at least 2 or 3 days here. One day at the castle, one day to walk through the parks and lanes, and another day to see everything 'not...More
