The war memorial is situated in the grounds of Aberystwyth castle. It is well worth visiting and very interesting. It is in a lovely spot on the seafront and you can look at the castle ruins whilst you are there.

The wife took a trip up there one evening; I, however, was too tired to try... She liked it. Wished I had gone with her so I could be more descriptive...

Walked up to see the memorial, my youngest complained all the way up but when we got to the top we could see wild dolphins swimming in the sea, lovely views, lovely area.

This is a quiet place to visit in March. I paused to read the inscriptions but also looked out to sea.

The statue is a lovely piece of work , looking out to sea, it’s very visible from a distance. Looks a little weathered over time . If your in the town it’s worth having a walk on the sea front to look at it .

With the waves crashing to our right, the sun rising, heating our backs and the wind swirling around us, our experience of the memorial was quite breathtaking.
