It’s fun to climb up the incline to see this ruined castle, imagining what it was like when it was intact. There is a great view from the castle.

The castle gives you a very nice view from Aberystwyth. And the story about the castle is written on the walls

Aberystwyth is just the most lovely place! The ruins of Aberystwyth Castle are definitely worth a visit. The grounds are lovely for walking, and there are great views of the surrounding area from the ruins. The ruins themselves are interesting to explore.

The castle sits on a headland with commanding views of the coastline and the township and is worth exploring for the history of the site.

Whilst looking round the pier we noticed the castle and thought we would have a look. More ruins than a castle, but very nice nonetheless, with great views all round. Some lovely photo opportunities to be had here.
