A defunct country estate which has been seriously mismanaged by the local council. Very little to show for the investment of public and European funding beyond providing a car park of sorts, a handful of workshops where you are lucky to set eyes on an artist or craftsperson let alone their work, a lackluster shop, a third rate, over-priced café... Thank you for taking the time to review. We are very disappointed to hear of your dissatisfaction following your visit to Parc Glynllifon. We share your concern regarding dog mess - the park and the Council as a whole has a strict policy on this matter and bins are provided for disposal of all waste. We are hoping that this... More

This massive garden was constructed as a playground, and it still offers places to explore, hide and discover. So many tree's, including my favourites, the Giant Redwoods. This is the perfect place for walks, with accessible pathways alowing many areas of the site to be enjoyed. There are many slippy areas for the more bold to traverse.

Took the dog for a stroll at this park. Used the supplied leaflet to follow the "tree trail" through the park via the agricultural museum. Found trees I'd never ever heard of before (and a number of tempting plaques with no obvious tree) We enjoyed our afternoon and the dog certainly did

Easy to find from porthmadog, great 2 hour walk with the kids, they loved the sense of adventure that the gardens offered. Shop was shut so we didn't know who to pay the admission fee to. Will def be back for a walk on a cold christmas break away.

This was by far the highlight of our holiday to North Wales. After a trip to the castle we stopped off here and it is the most unusually quirky little place. I felt like I had stepped on to the set of Labyrinth and enjoyed getting lost, exploring the wonders Glynllifon had to offer. I suggest wrapping up warm (it... More

Lovely walk around the grounds and tasty healthy food in the cafe. The birds come up to you if you eat outside and there's wildlife everywhere.

I've visited this park on and off over the years but hadn't been for a good while. Decided to take my toddler there for some fresh air and exercise. We had lunch at the cafe, food was great and delicious with good meal choices for the kids. The park itself is beautifully maintained with lots of benches if you want... More

A beautiful place to walk along the woodland trails with plenty of things to discover and see. Spent a few hours walking around and looking at the various features and sculptures around the trails. Great little cafe on site and shop with a variety of crafts and items sold. Also through entrance shop is a courtyard with artist studios and... More

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon here. Beautiful gardens. A nice trail with family treasure hunt. Unfortunately we went quite late in the day, so the gift shop and cafe were closing as we got back Not too expensive at £4 per adult

When entering there is a seperate Vegan menu board which is rare to see but well received. About 45 minutes later when the meal arrived, a shepards pie for me, a pizza for her indoors, we realised it just wasn't up to scratch, not even close. The shepards pie had no moisture at all, overcooked and just massively disappointing. The... More
