Bank holiday weekend in Shrewsbury so travelled up on Heart of Wales line . Journey was enjoyable experience but a long one. Lovely scenery not so comfortable seats but a seat at that. Refreshment trolley on way up and back. Would travel via rail again...More

the jouney was long and the carrige (1) was full no one to say where w were or to give us infomation . on the way back no trolley service no where to move about the four hours each way was very tiring and boring

No - you need to ensure the ticket says "via Llandovery" The "standard" ticket will assume you go via Newport and the Welsh Marshes line.
