The Lady of the Forest lives here, if you listen carefully you can hear the fairies and nymphs. I loved every moment of the nature walk with Kismatkarma. I would come again just for the Forest. I think ill have withdrawal symptoms for a few months. You can truly become one with nature here.

Enjoy Llyn Crafnant; carpark with toilets and good flat walking around lake for those who are past going up mountains but want to enjoy the beautiful views;

Great place to go, if you love the outdoors. Rain or shine get down there for a walk/hike or bike ride.

A great traditional trail, will be visiting again not as technical as some other trail centres. There is only the one marked trail which is a red grade.

We were supposed to be walking around two lakes but started at the wrong car park. It didn't matter, We'd started at least 5 miles from where we should have. A friendly local realising we were not in the right place drove us to the lake. So we enjoyed the view and hiked back to the car. He even said... More

Area of tranquility and natural beauty. Not an easy place to get into in a vehicle but it can be done carefully... Once in the forest there are tranquil lakes, ancient trees and evidence of Roman influence. The road running alongside the forest from Treffriw to Betws is one of the oldest Roman Roads in the UK. Whole place is... More

We took a waymarker route for 2 and a half hours and hardly saw a soul. We took the yello footprint route and were treated to a moderate walk with lovely views. And, we had it all to ourselves!

Just great for all the family. Have been camping and holidaying in the area for years and love being in the forest so much. Smells so fresh and clean. The paths are signposted but not that great in places, but plenty of paths to follow. Amazing stream and waterfall there too. Hidden gem. We always walk up the Llyn Parc... More

Walked the 10km route with my 14 month old dog, on a lovely clear December day. Beautiful scenery all along the route, which took us on narrow pathways along the river as well as wide forest roads along the lake. The route appeared to be clearly marked although I think we somehow missed a bit! Would highly recommend it. Seemed... More

We walked into the forest having parked in Llanrwst. The only criticism we have is that the layout of the walks can be quite confusing. We completed the walk marked with black footprints on the marker posts, and then joined the yellow footprint walk. Unfortunately, we reached a point where you could go in any of three directions, but there... More
