We were staying in the Royal Victoria Hotel, Llanberis and this tower and ruined walls is in the 30-acre grounds. However, it is not well publicised in the hotel as far as we could see and so when we wandered through the trees, up and...More

If you get into town and want an easy walk with a castle at the end, this is for you. You can look out over both lakes from here and walk up into one of the old stairways of the castle (VERY narrow). Don't plan...More

Not so much the castle but the nature trail leading up to it was most interesting. Once up there you can see some nice views. Car park tip: pay once and park at any the town's public lots for the whole day.

A nice little spot to sit in the sun and relax. Free to walk up to but not much to see once you're there. It is an attractive ruin but small and there is a nice view from there

Nice castle tower and walls to visit, bit of a climb up from main road but not bad. Dog friendly, free admission. Not bad for a tourist area. Lovely views of area on nice day.

the castle is ok to visit for a short walk not a lot to see only a ruin of a tower, but the views from castle site are lovely.
