We walk our dog in the massive grounds and have a tea & cake stop in the cafe. A nice walk and good attraction if you go inside into the house. Somewhere we visit frequently. 🙂

We visited here, as we have a National Trust card and had heard from our neighbours that it was a good place to go. We put the postcode in the sat nav and as is often the case, we ended up at the wrong entrance, which was only a pedestrian one. Then we found another entrance, which we found out... More

This is a very interesting and unique NT property. It was left by the Yorke family to the National Trust. Not only was the property left but the contents too, so it is full of original pieces - especially as the Yorke threw nothing out! In addition, Erddig is unique as it tells the story of the servants that worked... More

Nice grounds, great playground for children, cafe is good and serves good coffee and snack food. There's a souvenir shop and the staff, who are volunteers, are generally very friendly and knowledgable. On hot days it's very busy indeed.

Yet another gem in the Crown of the National Trust. Worth a visit just to see the house and grounds. Two pools in the garden stocked with Koi Carp, of different sizes. Plenty of space for youngsters to run off excess energy. Cafe on site equipped with a lift so access available to those who can't manage steps.

We have been visiting a few times and always find each visit a great reminder of "days of old". It is worth allowing a few hours to enjoy the fascinating look at the marvellous of how life was like in times gone by. I can certainly recommend a visit to the fabulous gardens with all its colourful display of flowers... More
