The show we went to see was excellent, but the place seemed to be understaffed, there were queues fir the bar, the kiosk and the toilet, a bit of a let down.

A venue suitable for all ages and those with a wide range of interests from comedy to opera. Staff and the talent are usually happy to interact with the crowd and help however, the venue manager has appeared on several occasions to have a very long stick stuck some place uncomfortable. With that said, it's a wonderful place to see... More

Went to see the Queen tribute band 'Killer Queen', at the Sr. Davids Hall in Cardiff. It took us about 15 minutes walk from the multistory car park to the theatre. When we entered the foyer we decide to use the stairs but soon agreed to use the lift to the seventh floor. We did notice there were refreshment bars... More

Our tickets were for Tier 1, Row BB and directions to them and the toilet facilities were clear. Our seats were very comfortable with tall backs to rest our heads and were arranged so that we, and those behind us, could clearly see the stage. Our only problem, as a couple visiting Cardiff, was the usual unfriendliness of the Welsh... More

I went here no end of times in the early 90s but only twice in the time since. My youngest son was recently in a concert as a member of his school's choir and it featured the Welsh National Opera orchestra. We had front row seats and were really able to appreciate the excellent acoustics of the place. The emotion... More

A visit to Cardiff on a Saturday 29th April only to find nothing at all available to see or hear on at this venue. Pathetic management

Excellent venue for a band, easy to get too straight off the main bus route into Cardiff and your at the venue. Great seats, great sound and the bar is good too.

My partner and I saw Steve Hackett in concert last week. Our first visit to St David's Hall proved to be most enjoyable. The theatre is thoughtfully laid out with comfortable seating and, despite the size of the auditorium, each seat provides a great view of the stage and retains a sense of intimacy with the performer. The staff were also... More

Visited the hall often and seen some fabulous shows. St Davids Hall is a great venue with good seating and very helpful staff. My most recent visit was to see Gino D'Campo I wish I had spent my 30 quid on a meal at Carluccios just down the road, Gino is more full of himself than a self catering cannibal.His... More
