Overlooking the Bay and with a chic, cosmopolitan atmosphere, Mermaid Quay is where Cardiff comes to relax.Just five minutes from the city centre, it's the perfect destination for relaxing, partying or splashing out on a bit of retail therapy or personal pampering. The wealth of waterfront restaurants, cafes and bars with menus from around the world mean there's something for every taste and pocket - from a quick snack to a leisurely, luxury meal. And, if it's laughs you're after, there's nowhere better than the Glee Club - one of the UK's top stand-up venues.Meanwhile shops and services range from stylish boutiques offering hot fashions & accessories, fine foods, fabulous furnishings and great gifts to Ken Picton's award-winning hair dressing salon & spa.

We enjoyed a couple of hours here shopping and generally enjoying the atmosphere. There is a funfair for smaller children, a big wheel on the waters edge and loads if places to eat and drink. We were lucky with the sunny weather too.

Nice area to explore. Weather permitting, of course. Grab a bite to eat, do some light shopping and take in the bay.

Located at Cardiff Bay, this encompasses a large area with places to eat, drink, or shop. Similar to my review of Cardiff Bay, this is a lovely place to visit on a nice day. Great spot for walking with great views of the bay.

Hi Terry The public toilets are located upstairs by the entrance to The Glee Club. The entrance to upstairs is opposite GBK on Bute Street. Hope this helps. Thanks
