Pennard is a beautiful place, but a bit inaccessible, so if you like walking, [not too difficult], then it's worth going over the Downs.

My friend and I decided to have a look at the ruins to take some photos. Because it's on the coast there are lovely landscape views of the coastline as well . Well worth a visit.

Its a ruin so entry is free& uncontrolled and it's always open - on a public footpath so dogs welcome, but I think dogs might not be permitted on the beach below in the summer months so do check. Might just be the beaches... More
