We had a great day out in Swansea and were hesitant about going to the marina but glad that we did. A really lovely afternoon with lots of jokes, boats, and a few beers too.

On re-visiting Swansea Marina after 25 years I felt that it has been neglected considerably. The shops and restaurants felt a bit tacky and there were several vacant shop premises. There used to be a floating pub on a boat, which has now gone and...More

Well worth a visit watching the boats coming and going. Pubs and restaurants and a Maritme Museum in the area so plenty of interest.

I can remember the old "docks" in Swansea and can really appreciate the way they have developed the new Marina, to modern standards, with plush accomodation, nice restaurants and a few shops.

Lots of places to eat and drink. Stunning yachts and boats. You can have river cruises during the summer months.

The marina has been re-vamped and looks wonderful. The leisure centre is good with children and the museums have something for every age. There are places to have a coffee or to eat.

I attended at Swansea Marina for a piano performance and it was beautiful. There's a wonderful view of the sea and the surrounding areas and many places to eat and drink. I look forward to attending there socially.

The station is a good 30 minutes walk to the Marriott hotel. It can be done, but would recommend a taxi.
