We stopped here on the hop-on bus tours after hearing the history of the area. Quite amazing with all the murals and the day we visited there was a parade with 60 marching bands.I've never seen so many flags in one place.

Its a great thing to go and see. Alot of reviews commenting on how unwelcoming it was. This is not what i found. The people were lovely and welcoming and we felt completely at ease drinking in the pubs that we visited.

IT was good to see this road after so many years of just seeing pictures on the television. The visit brought Back memories of the Irish troubles in Belfast.

Runs through West Belfast, and is an important part of understanding the history and division between the unionists and the loyalists. Although it's the Protestant view it's less a religious tension and more a political-independence position. The murals and the proudly displayed flags are also...More

This area was fascinating to visit during daylight & in light of Belfast history. I think it gives great context to pass through this area indeed.

We last visited Belfast some years ago and looked at the gable end murals. Now there seem to be less of these and the whole tone of the area seems less confrontational which has to be good. All the same the murals, flags etc do...More

I never felt scared during my visit to Falls Road and Shankill road but certainly started it with a little trepidation as I can remember all the news reports when i was younger. I walked round the area with a friend and we... More
