Wonderfully informative and engaging tour by Gerry today on the history of the Linen Hall Library and its role in the social and political life of Belfast and its amazingly interesting and extensive collections. Definitely made me want to revisit and spend more time there.

I went on a university tour to the Linen Hall Library and It was just amazing. Seeing how the library started as safe place for the freedom of ideas and knowledge warmed my heart. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the library...More

Staff are super friendly and management always has special events lined up for different age groups. One thing I would suggest...More

An excellent place to pop in for a read even if you are not a member. Exhibitions and events also take place there but the real star is the building itself.
