Let me start by saying this is all free, so its worth visiting on a nice day if you have time. It wasn't quite as exotic as i had hoped but was a nice way to relax for an hour

The elegant steel and glass construction was built back in 1839! At the time it must have been a miracle to many people and it stands as an example of victorian engeneering. So from a historical perspective it is very valuable. I am not really...More

We took a small detour through here on our travels, it was a bright February morning (yes I was surprised as well) and the surroundings were peaceful and green. Not somewhere to go out of your way as it didn't have much to see than...More

Didn't visit the gardens at the best time as it was too early for the rose garden but it was still beautifully laid out with early Spring flowers. The Palm House and the Ravine are also well worth a visit. We concluded our visit to...More

Was a good trip around the gardens and also inside both house but it was a bit of a free for all. Nice buildings but there was no one to ask questions or anything.

Particularly when the weather is good this is a great place to explore. It's surrounded by cafes and restaurants and other attractions like Queen's University and The Ulster Museum. The palm House and tropical ravine are beautiful, as are the walks through the park.

Brilliant location for the lovely Botanic gardens as it is next to the Ulster museum and Queens University. Glass house is old and full of character, very nice planting. The temperate house is much more modern and well worth viewing. The grounds are not large...More

Lots of things to see and nearby attractions. Staff are available and more than happy to give some history to the buildings. Nice restaurant cafes on site.

We just came ot of the museum into the grounds and did not pay a charge, so as far as I am aware it is free unless there is somehing special on.
