Stopped on the hop on hop off tour, mainly because it's free. It was an experience getting in - going through security etc - and it is a grand building once in. To call it a tour is a little misleading. We were meet in the hall by a nice lady who told us some more about the building. We... More

If you get the Official Belfast tour bus it drops you off and picks you up here on its route. They offer a free tour at 11 and 3 every day which is a must do if you want to see the incredible decor and hear the history of the building - especially the ingenious way it avoided being damaged... Stormont is absolutely well worth a visit. The grounds and setting are stunning. A lovely place for a wander, as the parliament building is set in fantastic & very large grounds. There's a kids playpark set in the grounds, so a visit there will keep them happy for a while. The view from outside the building is stunning, with a... More

Stormant is outside of the city in a fabulous setting. You can get to it on the hop off hop on busses but only when the building is open to the public. This is a shame as just visiting the gardens the building is situated in, is worth a visit.

A whim sent us to see stormont on a rare afternoon free from work. After visiting Belfast many times it never occurred to me to visit this magnificent building. But oh what a mistake to overlook it. Friendly staff from security to the house itself are on hand to make you feel welcome. Impressive interior starting in the grand hall... More

Recently went on a tour of Parliament Buildings when visiting Belfast. The local bus 20 takes you there from outside City Hall right to stormont. Once inside via the security centre you can grab a coffee while you wait for the tour. Micky who took our tour made everyone feel very welcome by asking where people were from and his... More

The effort it takes to get here will be amply rewarded by the excellence for guided tour. Recommended way of arrival is via the Hop On Hop Off bus - catch the 10.00am bus from Castle Place to arrive at Stormont for the 11.00am tour, you will have time for a coffee first. The tour lasts around 50 minutes, so... More

Easy to get to by public transportation and walk up the hill. And that walk is essential in terms of getting a feel for how the architecture works. We had a great guide -- Micky -- and the information was presented in an accessible and fun way. A few late additions to the guided tour (a group of 20 some... More

Massive building when you're near it. Beautiful structure and the guide told us everything about what the building is about.
