The Fly (formerly The Taphouse / Scratch nightclub) is Belfast's premier party venue. In the bar, we have the best cocktails in Belfast for only £3, great live entertainment, beer pong and pool plus we show all the big sporting events live on our big screens. In the nightclub, it's No Posing - Just Dancing. Our DJs are all about the party, whether it's on a Monday night at Belfast's biggest student night or on Saturdays, when hens and stags from across the UK & Ireland flock here for our great drinks promotions, top music and feel-good atmosphere! We can offer discounts for group bookings, our popular cocktail masterclasses and most importantly we'll guarantee that you have a crazy fun night here at the Fly. I've been in the nightclub portion of The Fly once; same issues as every other club. Cramped, dark, loud. If you're into that, go for it. The real attraction is the cocktails downstairs - these people are magicians when it comes to making drinks that don't feel alcoholic in the slightest. The prices aren't the Queen's SU, but you'll save... More

Probably my favourite nightclub on a Monday. However, it's always so busy and always has a big line. Have to queue from early in the evening compared to other night clubs. Could also be queueing for an hour or more.

Not a bad place, it's on a few different levels, service was fine, younger crowd though being close to the university area, fine for a quick pint or some of their live music, but there are better places close by!!

Myself and group of friends visited the fly on 20th December having being going to the fly for over 5 years. At first we waited at the bar for 20 minutes to order our drinks with only 2 staff actually serving later on I wanted to buy a round in and started queuing at 10:30 to get the cocktail at... More

As it was early myself and my boyfriend were among a handful of customers. We had a pint and then decided to try out some cocktails. We had two each as they were only 3 pounds before 11.30. All four were great tasting, innovative and original cocktails. The staff seemed friendly. I would suggest it for a quiet drink but... More

I waited for 25 minutes at a bar where customers were outnumbered by staff before they deigned to serve me. A poor choice for the night's first drink. Avoid.
