Let me take you on a wee dander (as we say around here) Through the city I grew up in, and as we go on a voyage of discovery, let me paint a picture off its past, present and future.

Noted for it's marvelous architecture, renowned for it's ship building, and praised for it's attempts to bring peace to it's people.

MYSTERY ECO TOURS

Take one of my Eco tours. Including A Great Railway Journey of the World. Stopping off half way for a hike along the coast. Before jumping back on the Train for some of the best views by rail you'll ever have, into Derry ~ Londonderry, or Legenderry as it is now known to many.

Or catch a local bus with me to a small village in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, with great views of the Mournes.

We have done many walking tours in the UK and abroad but nothing compares to Marti's Belfastology Walking Tour. He asked us what we were interested in and took us to all the places we wanted to see and more, what a great time we spent with him! Belfastology is a must if you want to know the true Belfast... We started our trip to Belfast with Marti and his "Belfastology Walking Tour". This was the best way to get to know all about the past and present of the city. The tour guide grew up in Belfast and showed us all the places we wanted to see and all the places we would have never found without him. He... More

We having a hard time finding a walking tour in Belfast, because, unlike other cities, the main tours there are not the Walking tours, but different ones. The one that caught our attention the most was Marti's one, and weren't disappointed. On the opposite, it was one of the best walking tours I've ever made. He was helpful and full... More

Marty was the best simple as...informative funny quirky we were so glad we cam across this walking tour. We ended up having lunch with him it was the perfect afternoon of our short Belfast visit. He shows you cathedrals but also bars it is never boring and he recommends other things to explore. Iva&peter

Whatever I write here, that can not be enough to explain how much fun I had with this tour and lovely Marti. If you want to know the Real Belfast, there is only one choice. Also for people who are really into street arts, I strongly recommend the time with Marti.

This 3 hour walking tour is a great way to see things you usually don't see by yourself and hear stories and facts about Belfast. Marty was open to all questions and we enjoyed the walk.

Did a walking tour with Marti on the 9th of October. Marti is very passionate about Belfast and how much the city has changed over the years, and for its future. The 2 hour tour turned into closer to 3.5 hours, at which point I think I had absorbed about all the info I could have for the day. Be... More

We spent a few hours walking around Belfast City with Marti. It was fascinating. Marti was friendly and incredibly generous with his time. He has an extensive knowledge of his city, ranging from giving us advice on great places to eat to describing the long history of Belfast. He's also a great photographer!

If there's one thing you do in Belfast, do this fantastic walking tour with Marti. He will take you on a relaxed walking tour and explain all the interesting places from an insider's point of view. He loves Belfast and knows all the best places. Not only that but he will recommend great restaurants - like Fish City and Ginger... More

Thank You. So good of you enjoyed my company so much. And thank you for the photos. I think it's always nice of my Customers to share some of the places they liked on my tour. Enjoy the rest of your travels. And next time I'll take for a wee dander along a sandy beach. More

Marti has such a love for what he does, and it comes across in his tour. He knows so much about Belfast and its history, and is able to teach you about this fascinating place. Without a guide, it's just not the same. I highly recommend the Belfastology tour.

Thanks for your review. And yes I think a guide can bring a city to life to those visiting for the first time. And while walking we could go inside places you liked and had heard about before hand plus all the places we discovered you'd near heard of before. More
