Called in for a pint on a Sunday. A warm welcome from the staff. Loads of history inside and out. Sat outside in the glorious sunshine and enjoying a nice cool pint . Will be back again when over the water.

If you want to get into a nice area to see some interesting historic material and meet friendly top people, then Rex Bar is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for you to visit!!! Friendly locals, friendly staff, good drinks and cosy atmosphere!!! Will definitely return!!!

Lovely bar. bar man is so welcoming and is happy to answer any questions we had! even gives free tea and coffee! I enjoyed an ice cold Guinness which was poured to perfection. Great, will be back.

Good atmosphere and frindly people. It's said that it is the oldest pub on the Shankill road, and a must see.
