Looking for ancestors is always a challenge and when the archive librarian was not available we were given instructions to the address of a lady living around the corner from the museum, who may be able to help us.

The main museum was just the same as when my husband lived in Armagh about 40 years ago! However they do have galleries that change and they were interesting. Staff very friendly

If you are in Armagh visit the museum. Perhaps we visited on a off day as the staff were obviously rearranging displays. There seemed no rhyme nor reason to the exhibits and no explanation given. However its free and worth a look!

I have visited this Museum since childhood days! Exhibitions are of great local interest and from time to time photographic exhibitions are held. Would be easy to miss this one but take some time out and support a super local offering.
