I lived in the castle for 2 months back in 2014. The castle is private but you can get some good pictures as you walk the estate. Lots of lovely walks especially in autumn. A deer park, wildfowl area and arboretum are all on site....More

Gosford is a world apart. There is car-park with toilets and a well-equipped children's play area. But that's not all. You can walk (or cycle or ride) for miles on intersecting forest trails - not quite knowing where you will come out, but you are...More

Great place for a walk. The play park is great to occupy kids and the small farm will keep them enthralled with all different types of birds.

After missing our daily walks due to various reasons we called in here to the Forest Park. I noticed it before because of all the cars parked outside on the main road. The reason they park on the outside is so that people save money....More

Stayed here in our caravan for 10 days in july. Really enjoy this site. Newly tarmaced pitches. Beautiful walks. Excellent park for children. Deer, sheep, goats and poultry on site. Stunning castle located in the grounds. The facilities are dated but kept clean.

I imagine so, dogs are permitted in the Forrest but not in all areas. There are signs for no dogs in the area where there are the forest animals. They have to be on a lead too. Hope this helps
