This is a must do when in Derry. The entire perimeter of the city walls can be walked at a leisurely pace in about 1 hour. It’s quite interesting and affords sweeping views of the city of Derry.

Very good tour. Such a reasonable price. You don’t have to book either, just meet up outside the shopping centre. Covered a lot of history and current climate. Nice free teas and coffees at the end. We had soup and scones in the cafe too...More

Worth seeing these well-preserved city walls. You can also walk on their tops. Good views of the city below.

Free activity with informative story boards for history and understanding of the irish struggle for independence. Impressive stone wall which was surprisingly quiet and peaceful.

A nice walk, allowing good views of the two contrasting sides of the city. You can come off the walls to visit those areas quite easily. Avoid visiting in the middle of July when the politics become “active”.

My girl Anna and I had a walk on the walls. It is really great if u don’t have time forever to look at Derry since u see most of it from up there.

The day we were there they had period reinactors who explained various characters involved in the siege of 1690. If you could find someone who knew the history of the city it would be nice, but not vital. There are numerous... More
