good for gift shopping

Walled city crafters within the craft village is a great spot for gift shopping with lovely local craft for sale .Great knitwear and jewellery.

I visited the craft village in February. I expected to see crafts people working and lots of studios around the place but instead there were some crafts shops (my favourite was Number19 Craft and Design) which were manned by the artists and crafters themselves. This means that I could talk to the artist directly and find out more about their... More

Probably of more interest to tourists but I still think it's a good place to pass half and hour. Some interesting shops.

popped in today and realy love this craft shop. shuc a wide choice of beautiful hand made gifts. Lovely staff. very welcoming and chatty.

Lovely craft shops and gift shops. great place to buy your souvenirs. There is a very nice cafe too.

The Craft Village is very unique and appealing to the eyes - without a doubt. However, other than a few hair salons and an Irish Gift Store there isn't much to do within it. It is certainly worth a visit if you're not from here and would like to take a few photos. There is a very nice crystal shop... More

This is a quaint little square tucked away off the shipquay st it has charm and friendly shops there is a lovely cafe and a Irish glass shop too and it was nicely lit up near xmas with lights and on some nights you get traditional music too.

What a wonderful find of an eclectic mix of craft shops etc very enjoyable and everyone so friendly and helpful ,it is so peaceful once you leave the hustle of the street and step into the little courtyard ,you are transported to a different place

Even on a damp, windy, wintry day this was a delightful haven. Although adjacent to the city walls and Tower Museum this courtyard area felt like we were in another world and there was lots to see - even my 10 year old son found much to intrigue him - especially the knitted bicycles, wire tree, traditional cottage and pump!... More

Entrance is half way down Ship-quay Street and is well sign posted. It has quirky little shops selling beautiful souvenirs ,coffee shop and the fabulous Cafe Del Mondo.Lovely little area to spend time browsing around.
